We continue with the lower section.
The bottom plate has been removed (left). Once again a plate with two tiny slits appeared (right). This time a steel one and a "normal" tool did the job.
The lower prism and its positioning parts are removed. From left to right:
clamp for the prism; the bottom prism; the flat spring that presses everything together; two tubes
that guide the image from above to the eyepiece (ocular). Fortunately the prism is undamaged and
free of any mould.
This configuration is familiar to me because a Pz.W.B.F. uses the same principal.
Next phase is the removal and cleaning of the ocular with the reticle. Two tiny locking screws are removed, but the eyepice does not want to surrender so far.
Tape them or you might loose them.
