Technical system
The whole bunker could, in case of a nearby explosion, move a few meters in all directions. This movement would cause strong accelleration forces (g-forces). A human is capable of handling some g-forces, but vunerable equipment is not. That is why most equipment was placed on rubber buffers to handle the impact.
The installation in the bunker was capable in supporting 40 people in fully closed conditions for a periode of 2 weeks. So there were beds, a kitchen, a watersupply and bathrooms. The mirrors and the toilet-pots are made of stainless steel so they would not crack under an attack.
