Wolfsschlucht I

During the German campaign in France, June 1940, Hitler occupied a small headquarters in Belgium, near the French border. It is situated in the village of Brûly de Pesche, south of Couvin.

The HQ had two small bunkers and two barracks. One bunker remains and the present barracks are fine replicas. The one shown here is a museum.

Here the second one, used for lodging.

A small water well still works.

A pedestal for the leader to address the staff.
