Colonne de la Grande Armée, Stp Buschwindröschen

Coming from Fort de la Crèche and driving east on the D96, keep left in the village Terlincthun. You pass a British WW-1 cemetery. Where the terrain raises on your right hand is a 630. This ridge can be visited from the eastside by taken the road right, until you reach a monument with a long lane where Napoleon inspected his marching troops. The area is called after this relic of French military history.
The Germans called it Sützpunkt Buschwindröschen, the forest anemone.

The 630 was built in mirrorview. The tree grows where the Mg-plate once was. The Tobruk is in front. (2000)
