KwK Stände, Cr 43, Pointe des Espagnols

Better equipment in 2008. In the slope left lies a second one. It is invisible from here.
In 2016 we could go further. The two 5cm KwK casemates are built into the old French 32cm "Batterie de rupture de Pourjoint" dating back from 1888.
Stairs go down deep into the cliffs.
You end up in a rather large hallway. The doors are about 3 meters high! Also note the ammotrain tracks.

A big hall leads to two former gun rooms.
The original stone walls were smashed and a concrete bunker was built instead.
The Treppenscharte of this casemate which aimes north, probably covering the minefield in the Rade de Brest.
The second former 32cm gun room.
A ditch leads to the second 5cm KwK casemate.
The barrel is gone but everything else is still there. Aiming directions for a Sperrfeuer were vaguely visible on the wall.
