In 2016 we could go further. The two 5cm KwK casemates are built into the old French 32cm "Batterie de rupture de Pourjoint" dating back from 1888.

Stairs go down deep into the cliffs.

The original stone walls were smashed and a concrete bunker was built instead.

The barrel is gone but everything else is still there. Aiming directions for a Sperrfeuer were vaguely visible on the wall.
