This Wn 481 is an inland battery with the usual 4 x 669. Armed with the 10.5 cm K.331 gun and manned by 4./A.R. 1709.

The site is one of the memorials to remember the battle in June 1944. This one is in honor of Private First Class D.S. Bryant who was killed in action on D-Day.
