Vieux Soulac

This combined headquarters is Gi 312 (WN Berlin). It had a commandpost for an infantry batallion in a 117a and and an artillery regiment used a 119a. A major hospital 118b provided medical care for the whole region.

It is a fine example of a combined hq, in which all bunkers remain. A 655 lies on private property and was visited by Dennis de Zwart in 2009.

The grenate-exit for the stove had once a simple flap.
