Landfront Festung La Rochelle

As usual in a German fortresses (Festungen) the landsite approach was also defended. In this case a wet tankditch was used, with MG, antitankgun bunkers and fine tobruk constructions, placed along the perimeter. Finding two observationbunkers type 613, at the east side of the Landfront, enhances the importance of this line of defence. We cover the Landfront from the coast north, through the east to the coast in the south.
