The shoreline in the Lorient region shows sandy beaches, low dunes and at many places good roads leading inland. Indirect fire on those possible landing areas was important, so many inlandbatteries were built. We visited almost all batteries which had St bunkers. The battery at Kervihano (Lo 103) was not visited. We fear it was demolished. The "eyes" for the batteries were placed in numerous artillery observation bunkers. Our findings are presented in "Observation" in the main menu of Lorient.
Just checking who is entering our realm.
