In this room all incoming data and outgoing orders were processed. Information coming from the various radar stations was gathered in the control center. That information was given to command center next-door. Here orders were made, that had to be sent by telephone, telex, orderlies or radio. So the control center had several rooms for all the communication functions.
We entered from the portal through the left door. The right door leads into the room for the duty officer.
Many communication sets need power cables. The entrance defence is also here. The wall on the left is the thin wall of the radioroom.
This is the radioroom. It has no doorway to the command center.
Here we are back in the control room. The next big room, the command center, is some steps lower through the right doorway. The door on the left goes to the telexroom.
