Finding and visiting the remains of the Atlanticwall is going back in time. The search for the bunkers makes you easily forget the suffering of the victims of the war. Especially in Normandy and Cherbourg you see not only a defence line, but also the impact of the battle. That's why we pay some attention to WW-II cemeteries, one American and one German. 27 cemeteries can be visited on the peninsula Cotentin and in the Normandie.
