Pointe de St Gildas

This is Mi 301. The coastal battery was manned by 1./M.A.A. 280. The guns, 7,5 cm K.M./97 (f), were placed in type Sk for gun. This same type can be found also at St Nazaire, le Pointeau in Nz 345.

An old French firecontrol was reused by the Germans. The site has several information panels and a museum on naval affaires, such as buoys.

A 7,5 cm Pak 40 stands in front of the museum.
