The bunker was opened to the public for a december day in 2013. In the war it was home to the Kapitän zur See Rudolf Petersen, Führer der Schnellboote (English designation: E-boats), small fast attack crafts. He moved to another location on 6 November 1944. From then on, until the end of the war it was used by the Seekommandant Mittelholland, Kapitän zur See Werner Stoephasius.
