HKB Landehovden

Operated by the 18./979 HKAA this battery was armed with four 10.5cm K331 (f) guns. It's task was to seal off the entrance to the town of Mandal. In the end of the war four 671s were to replace the open emplacements but only one 671 was finished. A vast tunnelsystem with crewrooms can be found in the rocks of this landpoint. Not a lot has changed since the end of the war and one can find a lot of original details. It's quite a long walk but the bunkers and views are beautiful.
