Stützpunkt Filipów
Filipów is a small town along the river Rospuda. The natural obstacle (a deep riverbank with high sides) fits perfect for a defence line. Two 111b and three 105 were built but they're all blown up. Only the turret of one 111b is still in place. The other one must lie near the bridge. We found remains of only two 105s. Several Wellblech shelters and two PAK garages complete this Stützpunkt.
A piece of the second 111b's turret has find a resting place at the museum in Bakałarzewo. The other piece still lies in the stream near the bridge.
