Special on the M 159
Hospitals are our favourite bunkertypes. We always have brought you all remaining M 159s. In the study prior to the trip to Normandie in March 2009, we found 3 x M 159 as noted in sources. In studies on Google Earth and the always important IGN maps, we have located these navy hospitals. We can not figure out why this bunkertype was built in this area, since the Kriegsmarine was not strongly represented here. All three specimen in the Basse Normandie lie on private property, on two locations nobody was at home, the third one could only be visited on the outside. These recent findings gave the idea to bring you a total view on the remaining M 159s.
