Port Vendres
Near Port Vendres the military architect Vauban built the French Fort Cap Béar. The German built a navy coastal battery with 15 cm K15/17 (t) guns manned by 2./M.A.A. 615. This is Wn 21. The armament was placed in bunkers type M 158 and one 670.
Arthur Beugelsdijk paid a short visit in 2001.
